This new version will include original visual assets that have been upscaled to 2k resolution, improved gameplay powered by the RENPY engine, and fresh content for players to enjoy.

Background story
Life was good. Winter had passed, and the warmth of summer had returned. Charlie turned one a few months ago and is thriving, growing faster than ever. Lisa kept in touch while she attended university during the winter, and now she's back to work for you and Tracy this summer. You're ecstatic to have her help again and can finally take Charlie out of daycare.
Your job has been going smoothly, and Tracy just got a promotion at work, bringing in even more money. Things couldn't be better.
Out of the blue, you receive an invitation from your cousin in France to visit him at his summer home in the foothills of the Alps. It's a nice gesture, but you can't ignore the fact that your cousin Richard has always been a bit competitive and difficult to deal with.
However, Tracy would love a trip to the French countryside, and Lisa could come along to help with Charlie. After much consideration, you decide to go on the trip. And now, here you are on a plane heading towards France.

It's not about being perfect or morally superior; it's about emerging as the better man and reaping the rewards that come with it.
Gameplay
LWT2 isn't a dating simulation anymore. What does this mean?
In this new game, you won't need to boost Justin's stats like before; that was already done in the previous game. Instead, we've put more emphasis on the relationships between characters and your ongoing competition with Richard. Make sure to visit essential locations at the appropriate moments, engage with other characters, and make critical decisions to reach your objectives.
The game's design choice allows players to immerse themselves fully in the twisted story and its consequences. The gameplay is faster and more emotionally engaging, making it a thoroughly enjoyable experience even when replaying. Each play-through offers the opportunity to discover new scenes, adding to the overall experience of the game.
