That Village
As the village of Yugra forgets its past, the power of an ancient community awakens once more. Twelve objects, as part of a ritual, lead the villagers toward a dark future. Galip embarks on a journey to stop the magic and uncover its secrets.
Far from the cities, the Yugra village, with its deep-rooted history, offered a peaceful life surrounded by nature. However, the villagers, blinded by their ignorance and greed, were about to face a dark threat they did not understand. The Yerka community, a group infamous for their invasions and atrocities dating back to the dawn of humanity, had been imprisoned by the ancestors of the Yugra people. This event had not been recorded as written history but had instead faded into legend and was ultimately forgotten. Yet, one day, the people of Yugra would unknowingly awaken this ancient community, bringing irreversible changes to their lives.
One day, the village chief discovered a cave nearby. Inside the cave, he found glowing objects. He told the villagers that these objects spoke to him, promising a power capable of transforming their poor and simple lives. Moreover, he claimed that if the conditions were met, these objects could bring the wealth and prosperity they had always dreamed of. Convincing the villagers with these promises, he led them into a spiral of greed and doom.
The chief distributed the twelve magical objects he found in the cave among the villagers and asked them to keep them safe in their homes. Once the required time had passed, he gathered everyone at the entrance of the cave. There, they performed the final ritual to fulfill the promised prosperity.
When the ritual was complete, the cave deepened, and an enormous door emerged, adorned with twelve circular slots where the objects could be placed. But what followed this moment was entirely unexpected.
Some villagers who touched the objects collapsed to the ground. Small growths, lumps, and discolorations began to appear on their bodies. More terrifyingly, their voices transformed into strange, inhuman tones. Witnessing this horrifying scene, Galip fled from the ritual site and made a decision to end this curse.
Galip embarked on a perilous journey to nullify the magic. He had to recover the magical objects distributed to the villagers and perform counter-rituals to destroy their power. However, in doing so, he would face not only the strength of Yerka but also the greed of the villagers and the heavy burden of the past.
Gameplay:
The goal of the game is to find the remaining 4 objects out of a total of 12 scattered across 12 households and perform the ritual at Zarun Lake, thus saving at least 4 households from the curse. Players must locate and collect the objects before the villagers return to their homes. While navigating through the darkness, you must avoid being spotted by the homeowners and carefully plan each step. If the homeowners detect you, you’ll need to act quickly and strategically to evade them. However, be cautious—every misstep in the dark could bring you closer to failure, jeopardizing your chance to complete the ritual.
